The Rooms

The three restored railway carriages (circa 1950) reflect the luxury of a bygone era with a tasteful blend of warm wooden panelling, velvet draped windows, old brass lanterns and period furniture - not only a paradise for rail enthusiasts. Accommodation is ideal for a total of 6 couples plus two singles.

Life in the bush is not just about searching for big game. It is just as much about waking to the chorus' of the various birds as well as the African sunrise. It's about sitting quietly on the verandah to watch the comings and goings of sable, giraffe, elephant and many more across the flood plain.  And, of course, at the end of a full day, there's that long soak in a hot bath and the warm bed where you'll curl up and listen to the sounds of the African night.
